AATRV: The Enforcer and the Infantry

Philosophy:

Zen entered the Real as part of what they already knew to be a comics tournament. With this knowledge, they believe they can only be another character now trapped in a narrative weaved by their Physical Self (or whoever may utilize them). For the Real to exist, after all, SOME nerd has to be drawing it! Right?...

While initially at odds with this information and the existential crisis presented therein, Zen (the written, imagined, or projected entity in the comics) has come to accept their role in service to the self discovery and skill building of the author. After all, characters sometimes seem to act against the writer's first intentions of their own accord... so, even if the artist in the real is imagined, the notion of their free will may not be a farce.

Zen realizes that sometimes, competitors will face hardships (whether they be damage to themselves as a creator, or the moral burden of carrying out terrible misdeeds) in the service of a greater narrative and character development. However, they operate on the assumption that if they are 'written in' it is for the sake of intervening (and possibly getting trashed to show off how strong someone is...), so. The job is carried out with a lot of gusto and zero compunction. There may not be many hard rules about what people can write, but Zen believes that the bad guys gotta go down! D:<
